Pause or Activate an Ad

Pausing or activating an ad from the Ads view changes the status of the ad across all associated placements.

To pause an ad on an individual placement, use the placement Inspector.

Pause or Activate an Individual Ad Across All Placements

  1. In the main menu, click Campaigns.
  2. Click the name of the campaign.
  3. In the submenu, click Ads.
  4. Next to the ad name, click … > Pause or Activate.

Pause or Activate Multiple Ads Across All Placements

  1. In the main menu, click Campaigns.
  2. Click the name of the campaign.
  3. In the submenu, click Ads.
  4. Click the check box next to the ad name.
  5. In the bulk operations menu bar, click Edit.
  6. Choose your edit mode.
  7. Select Submit

Pause or Activate an Ad on an Individual Placement

  1. In the main menu, click Campaigns.
  2. Click the name of the campaign.
  3. In the submenu, click Placements.
  4. Next to the placement name, click … > Ads to open the Ads tab of the placement Inspector.
  5. Next to the ad name, click … > Pause or Activate.
NOTE
If an ad was paused from the Ads view, you can’t activate it from the placement Inspector. Activate it from the Ads view instead.
