AEP - Compose Audience is read-only - What permissions do we need?

If the creation process when accessing the Audiences section to compose a new audience shows a read-only flag, check if ‘Profile Management’ permissions have the ‘Manage Merge Policies’ privilege.

When accessing the Audiences section to compose a new audience, the creation process shows a read-only flag, like so:

To remove the read-only flag, make sure the ‘Profile Management’ permissions in AEP contain the ‘Manage Merge Policies’ privilege. This will result in the disappearance of the flag:
